Integrating with Microsoft Entra ID

Pre-requisites

You need Admin access to the Microsoft Entra admin center in order to integrate Microsoft Entra ID with Teisko.

What data is available?

1. Read the list of Users
2. Read the last login/activity time by User
3. Read the user creation date/time.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Sign in to Microsoft Entra admin center (https://entra.microsoft.com/)
2. Navigate to Applications – App registrations
3. Click ‘New registration’
4. Enter Name ‘Teisko’
5. Click ‘Register’-button
6. Open (if not already open) newly created App registration ‘Teisko’
7. Navigate to Manage – API permissions and click ‘Add a permission’
8. Choose ‘Microsoft Graph’
9. Choose ‘Application permissions’. Search and add AuditLog.Read.All and User.Read.All
10. Choose ‘Grant admin consent for Sam Teisko Ltd’
11. Navigate to ‘Manage – Certificates and secrets’ and click ‘New client secret’. Enter Description and choose Expiration time. Click ‘Add’
12. Copy newly created Client Secret Value. Open Teisko console and paste copied Value to the ‘Client Secret’ field.
13. Open Microsoft Entra admin center and Navigate to ‘Overview’.
    1. Copy Client ID and paste to Teisko Connector Settings ‘Client ID’ field.
    2. Copy Tenant ID and paste to Teisko Connector Settings ‘Tenant ID’ field.
14. In Teisko console, open Connector Settings and Click ‘Test connector’.
15. Click ‘Run connector’.
16. Navigate to Users tab and check result.
